DescriptionDrawing, using colored pencils on Arches paper, of a stick. Once the drawing was complete, Ress created a file that generated Penrose tiling, and had it laser-cut across the entire surface of the drawing. Penrose tiling is a never-repeating mathematical tessellation. This was the first laser-cut drawing she ever made.
Photorealistic colored pencil drawing of a stick in the center of the page with interlocking shapes creating a star pattern.
