Loans and Exhibitions
Exhibitions
The DC Art Now exhibition takes place annually in our gallery located at 200 I Street, SE. This show exhibits the finalists from the Art Bank Program grant and is the first place to view some of the artwork that will become part of the Art Bank Collection.

Loans
The Art Bank Collection is continuously on loan to District buildings including over 150agencies and Councilmember offices. The artwork brings joy to workspaces and the people who interact with them. Many agencies provide essential services to District residents who are also able to engage with the collection in these spaces.
To participate in the Art Bank loan program, agencies must complete a loan agreement and agree to have the works on view for a minimum of three years. Artworks are only placed in public spaces such as hallways, conference rooms, and community rooms.

Outside Loans
Works from the Art Bank Collection are occasionally loaned to external partners whose mission aligns with that of CAH and helps further expand the reach and impact of the collection. Please note outside loan requests need six months for review and approval.
To inquire about an artwork loan, please contact Luisa Hammond, Art Collections Registrar, at Luisa.Hammond@dc.gov.
