BiographyA Washington, DC, native currently based in San Francisco, CA, Michele de la Menardiere is an abstract painter and graphic designer. Her paintings reside in various private and public collections. Through the US State Department’s Art in Embassies Program, she has work in the permanent collection of the US Embassy in Burkina Faso and has exhibited in Algeria and Kosovo. She is a graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, England, and she also studied in Switzerland and France. De la Menardiere held a residency at Palette People Artist Residency in Vagamon, India in 2015. She has installed public art as part of Artwalk in DC in 2008 and at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Crystal City, VA.
