DescriptionTuckman took this photograph in Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, an urban oasis established among the tidal marshes of the Anacostia River, which she describes as one of the best kept secrets of Washington DC. The gardens boast ponds filled with lotuses and lilies, which give rise to the annual summer Lotus and Water Lily Festival.
