DescriptionWhile some of my assemblages are composed from 1,000 or more images and have taken over 100 hours to complete, this one was nearly finished in a single day. I began this with the idea that it would be a workout in preparation for a more complex piece, but I found it so satisfying that I kept going and it became a finished piece on its own. The subject is Alexander Calder’s 1932 “Red Frame Construction” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
