DescriptionIn 2010, Arkin began a shift to work on three distinct bodies of work: dimensional wire sculpture, multiples of wax and shellac, and the linear series. “Multi-Point Interchange VI” is part of the linear series that uses different inks to draw all of the line work under and within the wax layers. She is fascinated by the disorientation of these works where you can’t tell what is on what layer or how far the work extends. Arkin likes getting such a deep world into such a thin layer.
