DescriptionLong known as a printmaker, Michael B. Platt later preferred the more encompassing designation, “imagemaker.” His artwork turned to digital explorations and book art combining images and poetry fragments. In their first collaboration, Platt and Carol A. Beane produced a book titled Forgotten Contours, which contained these pages. Beane wrote Suddenly Today Again while mourning her son. Her emotion is apparent in Platt’s image of her holding a bunch of asparagus that resembles a bouquet of flowers.
