Madeline A. Stratton

Madeline Stratton’s work is an investigation of the memory and importance of domestic objects and spaces, utilizing traditional media such as paint, textiles, thread, and printmaking. Stratton has been a fellow at Hamiltonian Artists and a sparkplug member at the DC Arts Center. She has undertaken residencies at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center and the School of Visual Arts in New York. She has exhibited widely and taught at St. Albans School in DC and Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.
