Sylvie van Helden

Born in Montreal, Sylvie van Helden is a mixed media artist with an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her works have been exhibited regionally and nationally at venues such as the Huntington Museum of Art, Loyola University, and the Autry Museum of the American West. van Helden was the recipient of two Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artists Awards and was named a finalist for the Baker Artist Awards in 2017. She lives and works in Baltimore, MD.
