DescriptionRoxana Geffen’s Dissent Collars were made in honor of the famous collars worn by the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg during the reading of a dissenting judicial opinion. Inspired by “the odd juxtaposition of steel intellect and old-fashioned etiquette that governs the world of the Supreme Court,” Geffen created her own strange and powerful statements.
