In 2016, some of DC’s food and restaurant experts guided her on a delicious journey, with each location chosen for its importance in the local food scene. With the large population of Ethiopian immigrants in the DC area, it is easy to find delicious, vibrant Ethiopian dishes to feature in her work. For this food adventure, Barlow partnered with food and travel writer Nevin Martell.
