DescriptionCharles Philippe Jean-Pierre uses a language of graffiti-like line work, brush strokes, and bold color. In this abstract work, he interweaves his bold palette with subtler colors. He aims to let go of his patriarchal views, to be more aware, emotionally expressive, empathetic, free to create without limitation, and to make space for balance, feminine energy, nurturing and integrity. Integration and overlapping of color, texture, and imagery are part of his process, methodology and reconciliations.
