DescriptionSally Canzoneri took this photograph when she was shooting for her solo show “NoMa: Changing Vistas – Changing Views.” It didn’t make it into the exhibit, though it is a favorite of the artist. The NoMa Water Tower on top of the historic Woodward and Lothrop warehouse is visible from around the neighborhood, and the artist became attached to it as she shot in NoMa. This picture was taken from L Street across a parking lot, and then cropped to show the roofline of the former warehouse with the new apartment buildings behind it. The fence with barbed wire is that of the parking lot.
