Description“Interchange With Shell” was part of a series of paintings titled “Interchange”. It was started in the year 2000. In this series the artist massed large areas of lights and large areas of darks together and then arranged them in a checkerboard pattern. The checkerboard pattern was then explored as a compositional device.
