DescriptionAt Finley’s gym, Muniak met a trainer named Ray Wells who worked in security at Cardoza High School in Northwest DC. Wells introduced Muniak to the school staff, and she began to photograph the daily life of Cardoza High. On graduation day in 1993, she waited in the wings of the auditorium and captured the palpable joy as the Cardoza High School football team took the stage.
