DescriptionIn 2010 I was cleaning out my father’s basement and came across an actual Campbell’s Soup packing box that was probably 60 years old. Immediately I knew I had to make it the subject of a piece: here was an authentic packing box that makes a clear reference to Warhol whose fake packing boxes had been the subject of an earlier piece. My composition is based on Joseph Albers’ “Homage To The Square” series.
