Ana Elisa Benavent

Ana Elisa Benavent’s work is highly influenced by color field abstract expressionism. It consists primarily of medium and large-format acrylic and mixed media works on wood, in which countless overlapping layers of color express the complexity of emotions. Benavent studied at the Art League in Alexandria, VA, and the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Hyattsville, MD. She has exhibited in New York, Washington, DC, Spain and Mexico.
