James Landry

Born in Fort Belvoir, VA, James Peter Landry Jr. spent several years in Heidelberg, Germany, before graduating from Mt. Vernon High School and the University of Bridgeport. As a young adult, he began painting before turning to photography, learning to process film and make black-and-white prints. He later returned to painting, produced acrylic paintings as well as gelatin silver prints, color photographs, and book collaborations with poets. Landry was also a musician and magazine production director.
