Shelley Lowenstein

Shelley Lowenstein is a keen observer of people and places and has a passion for capturing moments in time. She works out of her studio at Otis Street Arts Project in Mt. Rainier, MD, and is represented by Touchstone Gallery, Washington, DC. She has exhibited widely throughout the DC region. Her work has been featured in MODERN LUXURY/DC magazine, the HillRag cover, The Washington Post, and the Gazette. Lowenstein received a BS from Boston University and an MEd from the University of Maryland. She has studied art at Yellow Barn, Torpedo Factory, Montgomery College, Washington Studio School, Castle Hill for the Arts, and Provincetown Fine Arts Center.
