BiographyArt quilting is one of my favorite activities. I use it as an escape from my daily routine. It’s challenged me to try things I never imagined and taken me in directions I didn’t expected to go. For me, quilting is like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. Since I design my puzzles it’s easy for me to fit them together (sometimes). Each work is unique although some include the same fabrics or techniques. They are vibrant with designs ranging from the simple to the complex. One is very detailed and requires a lot of concentration while the other just happens. The variety keeps the opposite sides of my brain busy and that helps to keep my life balanced. - Sandra Smith
