DescriptionThere are moments when sunlight seems to take hold of whatever it touches, moments when it appears to grasp, stroke or charge anything in its path. Curiously, the interplay of light and shadow can ignite the most ordinary setting, revealing an inherent beauty. Wolpoff aspires to bring this mysterious quality of light to her work. “Dance With Me” is part of an ongoing series exploring her fascination with the Sonoran desert, where sunlight can seem to bounce while grasping at organic forms.
