Jamila Rahimi

Jamila Rahimi is a DC-based visual artist who works with Art Enables, a gallery and vocational arts program dedicated to creating opportunities for artists with disabilities. She has been with Art Enables since 2006 and has participating in more than 40 exhibitions. Her work shows off the diversity of her interests, including her love for travel, baseball, and animals. Rahimi brings her vibrant watercolors to life through densely constructed forms and an exceptionally patient and focused approach, creating the structure of her drawings with permanent marker before adding color.
