Caroline Thorington

Thorington’s work resonates with the animate. She uses double entendre as an unexpected coincident and a quirk that makes her prints not always exactly what they seem. A lithography stone and tusche washes offer fertile ground on which to exercise these subtle nuances and visual puns. It is always very interesting to see the different ways in which the images are perceived.
