Denée Barr is an artistic chameleon who melds the artistry of fine art photography, printmaking, and papermaking. Denee's work is based on the belief that we can nurture our own creativity by appreciating what brings us personal joy, happiness, balance, and peace. Her work celebrates nature, faith, culture, transcendence. Denée creates visual diaries which explore how we perceive photography through subject, form, texture, composition, perspective, light, and process. The artist captures images with black and white film negatives and each unique print is created in the darkroom.
