Allegra Marquart

BiographyThough Allegra Marquart turned to glass as her primary medium in 2001, she has continued to work in printmaking as well, including screen-printing, linocuts, and etching. She has taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, held residencies in the US as well as the Hungarian Multicultural Center in Budapest and Rochefort-en-Terre in France. She was also a finalist for a global art award in Dubai. She has exhibited widely, and her work resides in private and public collections throughout the country. Marquart holds an MFA in printmaking from Ohio University and a BFA in painting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
