Eric Butters

Eric Butters is a Washington, DC, landscape painter. His subject matter ranges from scenic views of the Potomac River to urban landscapes of downtown Washington. His paintings belong to numerous public and private collections in the region. Butters holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from American University. He is a former faculty member at the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, MD. He also served as the Department Chair of the Art Foundations Department at the Art Institute of Washington in Rosslyn, VA, from 2006 to 2012.
