Michael Dax Iacovone

Michael Dax Iacovone is a multi-media artist who has exhibited throughout the US and internationally in Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and France. He makes art by creating maps, drawings, photos, and videos that utilize the virtual understandings of space to create systems and formulas to experience those spaces. His photographs represent the process of walking through public space in Washington, DC. Each one is composed inside the camera, by manipulating the film into overlapping the images. Iacovone received degrees from SUNY, New Paltz; Virginia Commonwealth University; and Maryland Institute College of Art.
