Description"Zebu" is one of eighteen works from a series of collages. The first step the artist took to create these collages was to apply onto a large sheet of glass one or more medium, such as acrylic paint, house paint, wood stain or fabric dye. The application of the medium to the glass was done a wide variety of ways such as pouring, blotting, staining or using a paint brush, a bristle brush or hair brush. The next step for the artist was to press onto the glass a piece of paper; this was done to around two hundred pieces of paper. Some of the sheets of paper were used as the foundation, or background, of a collage. Other pieces of paper were torn randomly and then arranged on a foundation paper. This work is abstract. The true meaning is the same as the meaning of instrumental music like classical or jazz. The true meaning is whatever the viewer sees and feels. Abstract collage of irregular form on dark red ground with mustard border on left and bottom sides.
