DescriptionThe two light art projects activate and enliven Farragut Square for the thousands of neighborhood workers and visitors. The design is inspired by Admiral Farragut’s service in the U.S. Navy and battle on the Mississippi River. The project brings color, light and dimension to Farragut North, one of Metro’s busiest downtown stations serving roughly 23,000 riders each weekday. "Pulse", with its use of modern materials and light media, embodies the creativity and vitality of one of the city’s premier business districts.
