DescriptionBridget Sue Lambert creates tableaux using dollhouse miniatures, then photographs them and prints them in large scale, manipulating our sense of time and space. She imagines and constructs cinematographic and narrative vignettes of domestic and interpersonal scenes that explore the relationship between private space and voyeurism, as well as between men and women. Selected objects and atmospheres express desire, fear, destruction, hope, love, faith, anticipation and expectation. In this way, Lambert aims to give meaning to lived situations and to explore how physical space reflects and reveals our inner fears and hopes.
