DescriptionDumbarton Oaks administration requires artists to register and obtain permission to paint on the grounds, only for 3 hours in the morning. The courtyard had so many tiny details in it that Kushnir was surprised he was able to finish the painting on site. The angle from which he painted the scene and the foliage surrounding the site made the work especially challenging.
